Q. I have a Samsung HMX-H200 and I want to buy some accessories.
My main question is, if the specs of the camcorder says it has a 37mm wide angle lens does that mean that I can look for ANY filter or lens that is 37mm?
Reason for asking is there are products that are for the Samsung HMX Series and I thought that I only should/have to buy those types or they won't fit at all. The selection is limited. If I could buy ANYTHING that's not specific to Samsung HMX Series then I believe my choices of accessories would widen greatly.

A. Samsung HMX-H200 has a 34mm filter diameter thread. this is the size accessories you need.
the 37mm is salesman speak meaning it has the equivalent field of view that a 37mm focal length lens would have on a 35mm film camera. the actual lens has a 3.2 to 64mm 20x zoom focal length and a 1/4th inch size CCD sensor.
