Q. I have owned multiple touch screen devices and I have always put screen protectors on them. Is the iPad screen scratch resistant or does it still need one? How many of you have a screen protector for your iPad?
A. Apple states that the display on the iPad is a scratch and grime resilient glass surface. I bought my iPad a few days ago, and as of yet haven't purchased a screen protector. It seems pretty resilient, but perhaps its better to be safe than sorry. Ultimately, however, it comes down to preference. Personally, I don't feel the need to buy one.
iPad mini screen protectors?
Q. I just got an iPad mini for my birthday I purchased a screen protector and I know that people use a credit card to get the bubble out. Is that bad for the actual iPad? Help!!!!
A. Just use it gently. Since you'll be using it on the protector film, it should be ok if you don't press it too hard. I suggest try a thick / plastic business card first. You could also use a piece of thin cloth and gently move the bubbles towards the edges with your thumb. Hope this helps...
Do the skinit ipad skins act as a screen protector?
Q. I have an ipad 2 and I have a screen protector on it, but I was wondering if the skinit ipad skins double as a screen protector. Thanks!
A. Hi Doodlez95! â Our skins do not act as a screen protector for our devices, but we do offer screen protectors that work hand-in-hand with our skins that you can purchase separately. Simply apply the screen protector, then put the skin on top of it. I hope that helps.
