A. Well Kindle Fire HD is more like a tablet where you can do all kind of stuff such as watching movies, playing lots of games, using apps, Internet surfing (way better than on e-reader), listen to music and audio books etc
While Infibeam pi is just an e-reader and you can only use it for reading.

In accordance to Processor ... Nexus 7 has the quad core while the amazon Kindle Fire HD claims to be fluid in performance by the 1.2Ghz dual core HD processor.
Kindle Fire HD does have Dual speaker using Digital dolby audio to give you the better experience so on this one I would go for Kindle Fire HD.
