Q. My phone contract is due for renewal soon along with a phone upgrade. I'm currently using a Samsung Tocco (the original not a Lite or Ultra). I'd love to upgrade to an iPhone 4 but the signal problem renders it useless as there is little signal available where I live in the first place!
So, I'm looking at either a Samsung Wave or a Galaxy S but I'm not sure which is better. I'd use it for;
Calling and texting
browsing Facebook
picking up emails
I'm not fussed about the camera, mp3 player etc and both have AMOLED screens.
So which would be better phone for what I need it for? - do both of them have onscreen QWERTY keypads and which is better for internet browsing? I know the wave uses BADA and the Galaxy uses Android but If i'm honest I have no idea about the differences between these.
And has anyone who has either of these phones had a problem with picking up signal like the iphone does? Finally - is there a big physical size difference between the two phones?
thanks
A. i think that samsung s8500 wave is a better choice, less money and it's what you need and more, little differences between the 2 phones.but if money is not a problem and you want more simpler design then the galaxy s is the one.

How to give speed to samsung galaxy s?
Q. I have one month samsung galaxy s mobile and it seems really dull with the telephone stops working properly, either freezes or i get a failure msg like force close bla bla...
I just wonder how to get rid of these ennoying things? I use android 2.2 and after using for about one month im not really happy with this shit, freezes sometimes.
There are no/were failure during updates to android 2.2, but i just dont know what is wrong with this mobile. Any idea? I don't play games or have loads of applications on my mobile at all.
I have also a new HTC desire HD and after installing some app (non of apps are beta or lite) , that dam telefon keeps asking me to adjust the time and today i was supposed to make a video, while filming the screen started to move slowly. It wasn't the same when i purchased my HTC Desire HD mobile, it happend today, any idea how to get rid of this shit too? The telefone works really slow, what the helll! Help me how to speed these two mobiles?
Thanks alot
A. The samsung galaxy s is one of the best phones on par with the iPhone 4. It has a Better GPU than the iPhone 4 but somehow the interface is much laggyer on SGS. You can either wait for android 2.3 to fix these probs or go buy an iPhone 4 (or wait for the iPhone 5 this year). Personally my iPhone 4 never crashes, the os is very stable, none of my games crash, multitasking is smooth and fast. One way you can speed up the phones is by overclocking. Superiser/rooting is required, and there are many guides that help you with overclocking. The SGS can't be overclocked since it's already clocked at it's maximum speed. Good luck
