Q. I am about to pre-order the Samsung Galaxy S4.. My contract ended a few days ago and its time to upgrade from my Moto Atrix 4g. Just my luck the GS4 is coming really soon! So its a pretty simple question.. which would you prefer? A black or white cell phone? Im torn between.
Can never go wrong with black... Ive always owned black cell phones. To me it seems to make the screen "Pop" a little more with the black bezel. But it does show nicks and scratches and finger prints quite well.
The white it doesn't seem to show them as much? Maybe you can tell me. The phone being white would pry be easier to find if lost. (Unless ya dropped it in the show) lol which ive done before. On the other hand most of my women friends all use a white cell phones. The buttons lit with white may be harder to see as well.
Im thinking white just because I never have but i donno... which do you or have you prefer and why?
A. Myself and my wife both own Galaxy S2s, hers is white and mine black - we are also about to both upgrade to the new Samsung Galaxy S4 and will be buying the same colour schemes again.
It obviously helps to know who's phone is who's but I don't personally like white phones, the reason is pretty simple, when the screen is black (ie: turned off or on standby) and the phone is black it's hard to see where the casing finishes and the screen begins making for a far more fluid design.
With white phones, as soon as the screen goes black you can see it's exact size, maybe if manufacturers put some extra black accents into the design of white phones this wouldn't look so out of place?

What cell phone is better? LG optimus V or Samsung galaxy Precedent?
Q. I am getting a new phone tomorrow, Its either the LG optimus V and its with virgin mobile a 55 dollar plan or should i get the samsung galaxy precedent with straight talk and its 45 a month. I know its cheaper but if virgin mobile is better i obviously want to go with them. Help asap Im getting it tomorrow afternoon...thanks
A. hi, i work with phones every single day, i actually own the optimus v from virgin mobile, and am planning to switch it to a new phone within the next several months. pretty much if you want the unlimited plan, straight talk is a bit cheaper for the monthly rate, only by 10 bucks a month though, and they both go off of sprint coverage, so keep that in mind because sprint has a smaller coverage map than a lot of carriers, i only want to point this out in case you were previously using a different straight talk handset, because they all vary on coverage. as far as the phones themselves, i would probably lean more towards the optimus v, simply because in the particular store i work in i have seen A LOT of the precedents being returned. as far as the optimus the only real complaints ive seen were the coverage, because people didnt know it was through sprint. i however have never had any personal issues with my optimus, and the price has dropped from 200 to around 100 depending on where you buy. and i would look at how many minutes you use, because you may be able to do 1200 minutes for the 45 a month plan on virgin mobile. hope this helps
