Q. i love my ipad, but it drives me crazy at the same time.
i need a stylus that works with the invisible shield on the ipad screen.
i bought the screen protector to obviously protect my ipad from any harm coming from the stylus, and then i tried to use my stylus and it doesnt work! i have two diff styluses. one pointed at the end and one with the rubber ball shape at the end. neither work. i can press pretty hard down and get nothing. yet my finger works.
i need a stylus, please help!
i know they arent working because of the shield, BUT i only got the shield to protect from the stylus, i need one that works WITH the shield on it.
any help is greatly appreciated.
the cheaper the better, but ill take what i can get.
A. That your stylus doesn't work with the iPad has nothing to do with the screen protector. All of Apple's devices that have touch input don't work with styluses unless they are specifically made for them. Just google for "iPad stylus". Below is a link to one on Amazon that is described to work with the iPad, I have no personal experience with any styluses and IMO I don't see the point in using them anyhow. I have the invisibleshield screen protector for the iTouch and the screen protector that is part of the case from Otterbox, and input with fingers work perfectly.
The other thing to consider is multi-touch (pinching to zoom in/out of pictures or in Safari and other apps) - using a stylus wouldn't really allow that I guess. You might just want to sell your styluses or use them on another device.
Btw another tip, IDK if you thought about that:
Your screen protector is a good way to keep your screen from scratching, but if the iPad drops it's going to break the glass anyhow, not to mention messing up the iPad's case. Best to spend another $50 or so and get a real good case, I highly recommend the Otterbox cases, I have one for my iPhone and I dropped it several times on concrete from eye and belt height and it has only minor scratches on the side but only noticeable when holding it in a certain angle. But most importantly, without the Otterbox case, I would've not had the iPhone anymore the first time this happened, even from low height. Though there's no Otterbox case for the iPad 2 yet, so if you've got the new iPad 2 you might need to wait a few weeks or get a different one.
Have fun with your iPad and take good care of it and it'll take good care of you ;)
will the zagg invisible shield fit when put into the apple ipad case?
Q.
A. Whether you are getting the front only or full bod Zagg invisible shield, it should fit without any issues, but you should take it to a professional (e.g. at Best Buys) to put it on since it's really tricky. At the same time you can double to check with them to see if it fits nicely with your iPad cover or case (check out the resource box for more great ideas). Good luck!
Does the Zagg Invisible Shield for iPAD 1 work WITH an Otterbox?
Q. Can the ZAGG Invisible Shield be on your iPAD 1 AT THE SAME TIME as your OTTERBOX? Will the otterbox tear the shield off?!
A. The otterbox case is designed to fit tightly around the ipad. Adding the extra layer may not tear the Zagg shield but my concern would be would the case now be too tight around the iPad
