Personally I keep mine in a leather case as I keep it in my purse so I want it totally protected but its a personal choice.
With my hands for ear piece I only need to take it out to turn it on and off as everything else can be done by voice on your phone so with an enclosed case it's totally protected from scratching etc.

If you are leaving it around the house and don't need the extra protection a TPU case would be perfect:

It depends on your preferences I have a TPU but you may prefer the leather. But they are the two I would recommend. Make sure you get a premium leather one though because cheaper one are notorious for falling apart. Hope I helped.
Samsung Galaxy S3 Overheating Issue?
Q. I've had the Galaxy S3 since black friday. I just bought a new "walllet case", its made from leather. Im wondering if the case is the cause of my phone overheating. Its current battery temeperature is 100.7. It has overheated before, but never this much. Has anyone experienced an overheating battery because of a thick case.?
A. yes.... heat cant excape if the case it think or made of leather!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! like getting sweaty feet due to a warm day and wearing thick shoes or leather.... heat cant escape... the battery is not over heating.. its the excess heat cant escape, so its slowly frying your phone.... Android abuse!!!
