Q. After 2 years of working out fine, my motorola backflip decided to flip out (pun intended) and stop charging. If the case is that the charger is not the problem and there is a problem with the phone itself or the battery, I will be looking into buying a new phone tomorrow. I am not too up to date on some of the new phones out there (I'm an at&t guy) but some of the phones that caught my eye were the htc one x and the samsung galaxy s 2. Both look like amazing phones and I'm not the type of guy to throw out $200 on a phone but the one x looks amazing. My college room mate got the galaxy s2 towards the end of the semester and it looked like a really nice phone and it was very light. I also considered the iPhone 4s because everyone I spoke with who has it, which feels like everyone nowadays, says that its still the best phone on the market. I'm pretty torn so can someone help me pick one of these or any other good smartphones? I have a $200 budget and would really not like to pay more. Thanks a lot for your time and help guys, I'll pick a best answer of the bunch (probably the phone I end up getting will be the winner :P)
The only thing that is sorta holding me back from the thought of purchasing an iPhone is that I bought myself an iPad 2 last summer. I felt like if I had an iPhone and iPad it'd be kinda redundant. Like I can download all the iPhone apps on my iPad and have a bigger screen. But then again what do I know?
A. The iPhone 4S is still the most popular smartphone on the market and is the best well-rounded. It has the best and widest selection of apps, and great functionality. Trust me, if you get an iPhone, you won't be disappointed. The Galaxy S2 is also a great phone, and a real contender to the iPhone. The Android operating system is more advanced, providing more functionality, customization, and has a great, large screen. I would not recommend an HTC phone any day. That fad has come and gone, and they're just worthless phones nowadays.
I would personally recommend an iPhone, and just like I said, you won't be disappointed.
what phone that cha eun gyeol into the beautiful you?

How do people video chat on android/i-phones when the camera is located on the back? Please explain....?
Q. I've seen on Yahoo messenger mobile version that you can video chat on the mobile phone. However, I don't understand how that can work out if the camera is on the back of the phone!?!?!?! =? Obviously you could HEAR THE OTHER PERSON even if you had the phone turned around but how the hell do you SEE THE OTHER PERSON?!?!?!!?!??? I have NEVER had this explained, or SEEN it happen or understood this. At first, I assumed my phone was just not nice enough or cool enough to have a front camera, even though I did just get it and it's Android, it's still just a Samsung Intercept, so it's not as good as say...an epic? Or whatever. But then I've noticed on T.V. I always see a back camera on those phones also. So I'm not sure that the reason it isn't understandable to me is just because my phone isn't nice enough. Guess it's just because I'm stupid..... So could someone please explain? None of my friends irl have any android or i-phones. My phone is sadly the coolest one of anyone I know. And I'm honestly too embarrassed to show my stupidity to anyone I don't know because surely the answer is very obvious or something. Plus I've never actually seen anyone video chat and people just aren't friendly enough to go up and randomly ask someone you don't know questions like this. Believe me, I try to talk to people a lot in public, and while I occasionally meet someone new who's nice and friendly and willing to talk to a woman they don't know, most people look at you rudely like you've committed a cardinal sin just to speak to someone you've never met and expect a nice response and they look at you like you're totally rude, insane, retarded, foreign, etc.. So anyways, how DO you video chat on a mobile phone with a camera on the back? Will someone PRETTY PLEASE explain this and help me solve the mystery without having to actually face someone either laughing or telling me how dumb I am for not knowing such a simple thing? Help a girl out? >_<
A. Unfortunately, at the moment, there is no answer to your question as the software developing companies made working versions of these mobile apps (like Skype, Yahoo Messenger) with video calling feature only optimized for iPhone usage. I have been facing the same problem and although i'm thoroughly searching a suitable option for making video calls for my phone as well (i own a Samsung Galaxy S) i have yet to find one.
So basically, it is not your phone's fault for not being "cool" enough, or "you being dumb" is just that the software developers have failed to optimize this feature on Android, Windows Phone 7 etc. pretty much basically on anything that isn't iOS (iPhone operating system), it doesn't work.
Rest assured that there are a lot of people looking for some fix to this problem and as soon as one will become available, i'll try to come back and make an easy mini tutorial on how to solve it, for you, in case that'll still be needed and a flip camera feature that actually works won't be available by software default with future updates.
What i can assure you is that for the time being:
Skype doesn't support video calling on Android
Yahoo Messenger supports video calling but the camera that works for it is actually the camera on the back of the phone instead of the front one. Also this client had a prior "Flip camera" option but unfortunately it didn't work.
Ah and also, there is another small detail which I quite didn't foresee and later on i just checked out, from curiosity. At first i thought it was a software issue containing the problem of apps rather poorly designed for our common phone OS - Android. I took the liberty to check your phone specs on a well known website (i think i am not allowed to advertise) hope you don't mind. I found out that actually your phone doesn't have a second camera (front camera) by design, which i didn't knew when i started my endless rant about software. So even if the software worked properly, which it doesn't at the moment, you still don't have a front camera (which my phone has for example).
But even in this case at hand, there might be yet another option, but this you will have to ask probably at the store where you bought your phone or a Samsung representative, since i don't know the answer to it and rather bored to search, sorry. This last option would be having a microUSB external cam which you could buy, perhaps, i don't know for sure that's why you need to ask for this info. Would be sort of a phone accessory of some sort.
I hate it when i get carried away and talk too much, hope it helped solve your question or actual problem, take care.
