So, please help me to choose good phone....
Thanx........
A. The LG Optimus 2X prides itself in being the first dual-core smartphone. The Samsung Galaxy R follows at quite some distance but runs on the same chipset - the NVIDIA Tegra 2. Both have comparable screens too: 4" of WVGA IPS LCD on the Optimus and a 4.2" WVGA SC-LCD on the Galaxy R.
What sets them apart is imaging - the Optimus 2X is in line with the current flagships with an 8MP still camera and 1080p video, while the Galaxy R stops at 5MP/720p.
Here's a quick summary of the ups and downs of the two phones in direct comparison.
Samsung I9103 Galaxy R over LG Optimus 2X:
A bigger screen: 4.2" vs. 4"
Thinner: 9.5mm vs. 10.9mm
Double the RAM: 1GB vs. 512MB
Faster HSDPA: 21Mbps vs. 7.2Mbps
Slightly better battery life
USB On-The-Go support
Bluetooth 3.0 vs. 2.1
LG Optimus 2X over Samsung I9103 Galaxy R:
Better still camera: 8MP vs. 5MP
Better video camera: 1080p vs. 720p
HDMI TV-Out (with cable in the box) over no TV-Out at all
The Optimus 2X has fewer wins in its column, but they're all major victories. At least on paper - we'll see if the difference holds up in our tests or if the Samsung camera can make up for the lower resolution with better detail.
There are, of course, other differences too. It's between Samsung's TouchWiz and LG's custom skin on top of Android Gingerbread. And there's the design and build quality too: both have metal inlays on the back but the Galaxy R is more than a millimeter thinner.
Conclusion
The LG Optimus 2X was a flagship in its heyday while the Samsung I9103 Galaxy R was simply meant as a more affordable version of the Galaxy S II. Nearly half a year sets the two apart, but they demonstrated very similar performance in our quick shootout.
The biggest differentiating factor between the two seems to be TV-Out - if you want to pair your phone with the TV, the LG Optimus 2X offers FullHD playback over HDMI with mirroring, whereas the Galaxy R has only the wireless DLNA option (also available on the 2X).
Other than that, the Optimus 2X has the better camera, but not by as much as the numbers suggest (8MP vs. 5MP, 1080p vs. 720p). The 10% bigger screen of the Galaxy R is much brighter than the 2X's display, but you'll have to settle for poorer black levels.
The tradeoffs go on - if you want to watch videos on the go, the Samsung phone offers a full hour more of battery life, but if you browse more than you watch video, then the LG will probably offer a smoother experience due to its better performance.
Then there are the subjective differences like styling, custom Android UIs and so on. These are matters of personal taste and we shouldn't be telling you which one is better.
It all boils down to what you use your mobile phone for. Any of the phones in this comparison would be more than happy to serve. And although the LG Optimus 2X clearly has the upper hand in imaging and connectivity, the bottom line is that both phones are hard to beat for their performance to price.
well neo V is also a good option but it has a smaller screen and a single core processor but sony is sony.well choice is yours.
Why do Apple fans try to say that everyone is copying Apple?
Q. I see it all over the new HP envy video and releases. The macbook design is not original.

A. It isn't just Apple fans claiming copying - it's Apple itself. In case you missed it, about a month ago Apple won over a billion dollars (which could be tripled as damage award - the judge hasn't decided that yet) in a jury trial in San Jose, California, from Samsung, claiming they stole Apple's tech innovations in their cell phones. In addition to a huge blow to Samsung, it's likely a warning shot to any other manufacturers who might have been considering similar ideas, potentially putting a damper on consumer choice and better prices.
Apple has always made good products that are very well accepted (to the point of hysteria). They do have good design and engineering, but, as with Microsoft, much of their most effective work has been in marketing. They appeal to First Adopters and tech snobs in general. In their early PC days, even with a superior product (easier to use, more stable) they exhibited a "not-invented-here" syndrome which caused them to look down their nose at the innovations of others. This (not just higher prices) led to their very exclusive, and thus very small portion of the PC pie. But people like exclusivity, and Apple has done quite well with this approach. The PC wars were in many ways a replay of the VCR wars in which Sony, with Betamax, had a technically superior system, but refused to license it to others. Matsushita (aka Panasonic) decided to take the other road, developing a similar (but technically inferior) system that it licensed to anyone and encouraged competition, lowered prices, and took over the videotaping world (VHS).
The problem with Apple's complaint is that you can't copyright or patent an idea - it has to be a "work" - something physical you can hold and see, and Apple is in shaky territory when it starts talking about "look and feel". But obviously jurors in California sided with Apple over the South Korean company. However, similar cases have been filed in 8 other countries, South Korea, Germany, Japan, Italy, the Netherlands, Britain, France and Australia, and Apple's victory there is not assured (already lost a couple of them).
So the story goes on...
But, remember - Android is free to all comers - sound familiar? It could take over the world
(a recent TV commercial for the Galaxy S III is very convincing!).
Which smart phone to get?
Q. Sadly, i cannot get the s3 :(
But i am leaving in an hour to get a phone and God knows i cannot choose.
It's between Samsung Galaxy S2, Nexus, 4GLTE Victory, or Iphone 4S.
Please persuade me!
A. Dude get the S2! I'm a proud owner of an s3 and i can say it is just great. since you can't get and s3, i'm guessing you can't get an iphone 5 too. Therefore i would recommend the s2 since it is the next best thing. It is also great.
