A. I'd look for something on ebay. Way cheaper and usually plenty of choices.
What happens if you get an unlocked phone that has a different SIM card?
Q. So, I'm contemplating on whether or not I should buy a Samsung Galaxy S3... but the problem is that it has a different SIM card size/shape than my iPhone 3gs SIM card. If I go to AT&T and ask for a SIM card that will fit it... what exactly would happen?
A. They'll give you the bigger sd card that'll fit your s3. I dunno if their going to charge you or not but id bring $40 just in case.
Is it mandatory to have a data plan on an Android?
Q. I'm going to buy the Samsung Galaxy S3 this week but my parents don't want to pay Internet all they want is for me to have talk and text. Is possible to have talk and text or do you need a data plan?
A. it depends. when you buy the phone, if you get it at a discounted rate ($199?) they will make you sign a 2 year contract. and in most cases you have to get a data plan also ($40 in addition to your $50 a month). but if you buy the phone outright ($600?) then you can do just about anything you want.
