Q. This morning Ive gotten a notification on my Samsung Galaxy S3 SGH-I747 thinking that this was going to be the Jelly Bean 4.1 update. I happily downloaded it, system was rebooted automatically, and then I looked at my screen everything was same as before, I checked the version and it was same 4.0.4. What was the Update that I have just downloaded? And when will the Jelly Bean update come to Canada?
A. What you downloaded was probably some fixes and updates to your current build.
And the JB version will be available when it's ready. There's no schedule or time frame. They have to build it for each device they sell (if the device can support it) and it needs testing before it's released.
