Q. I'm getting a Samsung Galaxy given to me (as stated, the first one, not the 2 or 3), and I want to find a cute case for it, but whenever I look up "Samsung Galaxy cases," it shows me cases for the S3s constantly. Any suggestions?
A. Try your specific model name or number, for example i9000, or Samsung Captivate, or Samsung Fascinate, or Samsung Vibrant, or Samsung Epic 4G. You can find your model number under the battery of the phone.
Is the Samsung Vibrant better than then Iphone?
Q. hello, im looking at buyinga new phone. For i long time ive loved the iphone but just cant afford the price! just today i stumble across the Samsung Vibrant witch seems to be a great phone! Can anyone tell me if the vibrant is any compitition for th iphone? is it worth it looking at the touch screen sentitivity, the battery life, sped etc? can someone help me find the right phone? thanks!
A. I can understand your dilemma. I recently upgraded to the Evo with Sprint & it took me 3 months to decide on that. The Vibrant is a really good phone, as are any of the new Galaxy S phones. The top phones avail are the Evo (Sprint), I-Phone (ATT) & Epic (Sprint). Problem with all of these is cost of $200 or better. I think you're on the right track with the vibrant. Should i keep the G1 phone or get the myTouch 3g?

Well i really like the T-Mobile G1 i have but i want the my touch 3g is it worth the money or should i stick with my original phone i could really care less about weight as long as its not a brick. What should i do? Is it worth it? What are the better and more fine features I know i am late but gimme advice yahooers! Thanks!
A. Neither.... sell your G1 and use the $$ to buy a Vibrant!!!
The Vibrant is awesome and it's the fastest processor between the two (MyTouch Slide). It comes with Avatar preloaded on it... it is like watching it on an HD TV! It's just super sweet!! It has a Super AMOLED screen and that makes it look great and no one else has that in their phone now..
It has SWYPE technology which lets you text message extremely fast.. and it's easy to use. I didn't think I would be able to but, within a few minutes I got it down - I wouldn't go back to a physical keyboard after using SWYPE.
The processor is a 1GHz Hummingbird and it is super fast and the rep said it was more efficient and this helps your battery life.
I downloaded a Task Manager the one with the Android robot and the red x and using it to kill apps that I am no longer using really helps with the battery life. I can't complain about the battery - it lasts me all day and I text, call, check my email, play games and of course get on the internet. Before downloading the free app.. battery life was so-so.. after downloading and using.. much much better and I highly recommend this app even if you get a different Android phone.
The rep put on my phone a Samsung widget called Daily Briefing... I like it because is shows the weather, the AP news and it syncs with my Facebook events and calendar to show my appointments (even works with work email). You add it by long pressing the screen (just holding your finger on the screen for a few seconds) and it pops up a window then select the Samsung Widgets. I also put on the SW for Buddies Now which lets me put my top 21 people on a spinning list - shows their Facebook updates and I can respond, I can call them or text them from there too. I have a Feeds & Updates which combines my Twitter and Facebook (it does MySpace too but, I don't use it no more).
It's just a sweet phone... the Media Hub is launching real soon and soon I will be able to use it to rent or buy movies and download TV programs... I can't wait for it!!
It also has 720P video capabilities... and the camera is really good on it... It doesn't have a flash but, rep showed me the night shot and it works great for me!!
You should check it out.. you will not be disappointed!!! All my friends are in love with my phone and always trying to take it from me... that's not happening!!! :D
