Is it just the phone without the phone part? You can sorta say that. But it does technically have a phone part. But instead of using a phone network, you use WiFi. You use Google Talk to do voice calls and video calls. Skype is also an option too.
And what is the difference between it and the Samsung Galaxy PLAYER 4/5? Actually, the Player 4 and 5 are the Galaxy S WiFi. There are 3 versions with Galaxy S WiFi 4 and Galaxy S WiFi 5 being 2 of them. Then you have the Galaxy S WiFi 3.6 which is the smallest but the newest of the 3.
Is it available in Canada? I don't live in Canada so I'm not sure. We don't have it here in Australia and that's all I know. And since you're asking, the chances of it not being available is kinda high but, I could be wrong.

I thought you didn't need a internet connection to make a video call. Ok otherwise, it's kinda pointless. You can make video calls anyways on your tablet or phone after downloading Skype and using internet connection.
A. I got the same problem. Can't make a video call on my SIII. I really think that Samsung failed on this.
