A. Try photos saved under a creative commons licence. Images that the copyright holders don't mind you re-using, for free.

A. There are many companies that make different items such as that, check out J.C. Whitney, or even something on ebay, or you can go to your local stereo shop, most of them are used to making different specialty speaker boxes, Im sure that they could come up with something for you as well.

A. Wow, a lot of effort into not answering the question...
The answer to your question is: You can't record anything worth crap off a TV screen with an iPad.
The methods mentioned in the small novel above will give you the best quality. You are recording the output of the console or PC directly, not trying to record a display. Oh, and all those personal video recorders mentioned? They are PC's, just not a Windows box.
If all you have is your ipad, you set it in some sort of holder to keep it steady, frame the display as best as you can, and hit record. The results will look awful, but you'll have your recording.
