Q. my Galaxy y was repaired because i downloaded it with a game w/o knowing that it has virus, is it ok if i'll upgrade it from jellybean to jellyblastV3.0.4? will it be not destroyed again if i upgrade it?
A. your confusing yourself... and now confusing others new to Android.
JellyBean is Android OS version 4.1-4.2.2 (as of 5/17/2013). It is not a ROM. It is just the baseline program code. The flour of the cookie dough if wanna use that anaology. A ROM is the program code on top of Android... its the firmware. For example, Samsung, Motorola, HTC, LG, Sony, etc all make Android phones with JellyBean on it. But why dont they all look the same. They may act the same (jellybean), but why dont they look the same (ROM)... cause each manufacturer makes their own ROMs......................... All you need is flour (jellybean) and you can make any cookie dough (ROM) you want............
JellyBlast is a Jellybean Custom ROM made by a geek/nerd on his/her computer (hence the term custom ROM) at home. Its not made by the manufactuer. Just by a geek who loves to program codes. The down side to Custom ROMs of any kind---- some are not fully complete. Some Custom ROMS may have issues. So read the pros-cons of each ROM before flashing it to your Android phone.
When you custom ROM, the original stock ROM (the ROM you have on the phone when you bought the phone from the carrier) will be delete and gone and wiped and POOF GONE!) So please make a backup. Follow ALLL custom ROM instructions. Backup is always #1. 1 small little bitty mistake will brick your entire phone... and now you lost your $500 investment!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SO FOLLOW DIRECTIONS AND KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now to your question----------------------------- you got a game, didnt install a antivirus app... game had a virus on it.... damaged your phone......and now you want to Custom ROM it to Jellyblast to try to repair it................. again, like I said.... you run the risk of destroying your phone completely if you never custom Rom'd in your life. your choice.... but custom roming will wipe the entire phone memory in one of its steps... so yeah... the virus will be dead anfd poofed from existence durting the custom rom
How to enable cookie on a samsung gt s5360 (galaxy young)?
Q. I can browse well using my built in browser for this phone model using wi-fi and 3g but every time I open facebook.com and log in to my account it always says "Cookies are not not enabled on your browser. pls adjust this on your security preferences before continuing." I enable the cookies already but still the error remains the same and it happens only upon logging in. Anyone who has an idea pls let me know. thanks!
A. hi bert, what you are seeing is the fact that your flash player is not working right now so what i recommend is that you download adobe flash player on your computer. now as far as cookies goes when you visit sights on your computer it places files on your hard drive so when you open so many files where you have been you get cookies. cookies are bad, okay. so what you should do with those cookies is to go to your control panel and hit internet options icon there delete your history and cookies. now go to performance and information and hit clean disk there check all of your boxes that is using mbs except thumbnail and hit delete it will ask you do you want to delete these files say yes. now hit advanced and scrol down the list to defragment and do this it is important to finish the defragment then exit. good luck i hope i was helpful to you
how can i make my android phone faster?
Q. I have Samsung Galaxy y GT-s5360
A. the only way to really make it faster is to (like the other guy said) is root and overclock the processor.
if you want to get the illusion of making it faster, install a launcher from the play store. ADW, Go, holo are all good ones. they are much smoother than the stock touchwiz launcher. scrolling is very smooth and quick. it is very customizable.
also, dont use live wallpapers if you are using them...they slow down the phone a LOT.
