Q. i just bought a samsung galaxy discover but cant seem to use an mp3 as a ring tone. ive tried doing in the music player and in the setting but i cant add it or anything. also when i tried to send audio and it only let me send the default ringtones. does anyone know how i can do it?
A. Go to my file open folder containing your music files, you can set the ringtone from there while opening or playing the specific track. Or you have to transfer the track to the phone memory instead of SD card.
This is the solution otherwise you can't set the MP3 files as a ringtone.
Can a Samsung Galaxy Player video chat with Apple iPod?
Q. So all of my friends have an apple iPod. I haven't had the best experience with apple products and I've been wanting an mp3 of the same capabilities. The Samsung Galaxy Player seems really promising, however with me being the only one in the group with a Samsung Galaxy, could I still video chat with them?
A. Yes you can but not through FaceTime, you can video hat with them using other services such as Skype, Tango, and other third party apps
Can't decide between a 7th Generation ipod nano and a Samsung Galaxy Android player?
Q. The only questions I have about the Samsung Galaxy 5.0 Android player is, Can I STILL use my iTunes account to sync music to it? Because it seems a lot like a phone to me, will I need to pay a monthly service bill just to use?
A. I don't believe you can directly sync your iTunes account to the Galaxy Player. ITunes only works on IOS devices so you will have to transfer your songs to whatever media player the Galaxy Player uses. The Galaxy Player is a MP3 devices so no you don't have to pay a monthly bill. Think of the Galaxy Player as the Android version of the IPod Touch. Hope this helps.
