A. I would say otter box defender my brother has it for his iPhone 4S. It is so good and very durable. Pick what you think is best.

Q. I've been wanting an iPad and I'm considering buying an iPad 2 for myself, and the original iPad from a friend for my mother. My friend is asking $300 for the original iPad with minimal use and she's throwing in an Otterbox case. Is this a good price?
A. Yes. Even if it's a 16g size one it's still a smokin deal. Since your friend is selling it's probably safe to assume it was well taken care off. A search for Ebay and other used shopping sited are going for 350 and up. You never really know what condition it's in so buying from a friend is the way to go. I'd say go for it. Check Ebay and Craigslist to get a better feel for what they are going for. These sites will have all sorts of sizes for you to compare. Also you will feel like you got a good deal once you see some of the prices people are charging for a used ipad 1.
What kind of gifts can I get an iPad guy?
Q. My husband is getting an iPad for his birthday, and I want to get him some related gifts. He wants an Otterbox case, but I can't find when they will be released. Any other thoughts? Would an iTunes gift card work for iPad apps? Would he be able to get movies through iTunes?
A. iPad is phenomenal. There are many things you can give him but best in my opinion is camera kit and Apple Blutooth Keyboard.
With camera kit one can connect camera and memory card and import photos videos directly to iPad
iPad is more like a computer than iPod touch. Word document ,spreadsheet and presentation can be created on it and you can download email attachments or media from website directly onto iPad.
If you don't have Netflix account en get one and gift to your husband. I love watching movies on iPad.
iTunes gift card will work and he can get movies from iTunes but he can also watch movies from websites and Netflix. iTunes movies are in HD so those are more enjoyable but my favorite is Netflix coz I can watch as many movies as I want.
If he loves books then give him some books from iBooks store.
