A. There's a very good user discussion here, talking about different places that you can get audio books for the Kindle. See if it helps:

A. You can listen to audio books and songs that you have already downloaded on the kindle fire. For listening songs online.. you would need the WiFi connectivity, from my bookmarks here are some more interesting facts about kindle fire that you must know before getting hands on one:

What is the best place to get audio books?
Q. My daughter is disabled, but very bright. For her birthday I decided to get her an mp3 player so I can get her audio books to listen to all day if she wants. What is a good place to go for fairly inexpencive books with a good selection?
A. Start with your local library. Most carry books on CD and also offer downloads of audio books.
Librivox.org has a lot of free audio books. They're all books in the public domain read by volunteers.
Podiobooks.com also has a nice selection of free audio books. Many are read by the authors.
iTunes has some free podcasts and audio books that she might enjoy. If she likes things that are a little surreal or creepy, the podcasts "Welcome to Night Vale", "HG World" and "We're Alive" are all popular.
Tantor.com and Downpour.com both have a decent selection and a lot of sales - many downloads are only $6 or so and they tend to have weekly specials. So does audiogo.com. And Sync offers two free downloads per week during the summer - they're at http://www.audiobooksync.com/
You might also consider audible.com. They work on a membership basis, but they have a lot of deals where if you buy the Kindle version of a book you can get the audio version cheaply. Amazon owns Audible. I've picked up several titles where the Kindle book was $2.99 and the audio version was only $1.99. They call this being Whispersync ready. They have some free samples at http://www.amazon.com/s?ie=UTF8&page=1&rh=n%3A5744839011 and you can do some searches to find some of the cheaper deals.
Edit - there's a forum thread on audio book deals at http://www.mobileread.com/forums/showthread.php?t=201182 that may be of use to you.
