A. The original iPad is thicker than the later ones, so it probably would NOT fit most cases made for iPad 2 and later. You really should only buy a case that says it works on the first gen iPad - and those might be hard to find by now.
Do magnet cases harm your ipad?

A. My iPad mini case has a magnet along the length where it keeps it closed. They would not release it if it was going to damage the product. That would be the end of the company.
So no there have not been any reviews on the cases which contain magnets to close harming the ipads.
This was infact my first question before buying the case, 'does the magnet damage the ipad'. You then think about how if it did damage it they 1. would not release the product 2. the company would be sued, people would not trust it so it would be the end of the company.
