Q. I was taking pictures of the sunet on the beach with my Samsung Galaxy S2 and my little brother jumped on me when a wave was coming and I dropped the phone, it was still on when pulled it out of the water but I took our the battery and sim card immediately and wiped off the water but there was sand in the charger hole so I blew in it but it wouldn't come out. After that I took it home and looked up ways to make it work again and it told me to use the hose of a vaccume cleaner and place it on the open holes of my phone then to put it in a bag of rice and leave it in for a couple days. So that's what I did and today just took it out and put the battery back in and it turned on but it stayed on the beginning screen "SAMSUNG" and then the back arrow at the bottom was blinking so I tried to turn it back off but it didn't work so I took the battery out again and put the sim card AND battery in and tried to turn it on but it didn't budge. I put it back in the rice just incase it needs a little longer but there is still sand in the charge hole and I don't know how to get it out safely. What should I do to get the sand out and to get my phone to start working again???
A. Im not sure, sorry.
Why is samsung wave s8500 not available in the Indian markets?
Q. I went to Samsung stores, other stores, but i could not find Samsung Wave S8500. They said its out of stocks.
Is there other touchscreen phones better than Wave in the same price range?
Is Samsung Wave S8500 available in your city?
A. One reason may be since wave 2 s8530 is released they would have stopped wave 8500.
If you go by specifications of wave it matches that of Samsung Galaxy S only difference being operating system. where wave runs samsugs BADA OS while Galaxy S runs android.
Currently there are no phones avaiable in this price range of wave around 17K which can match its specs, either you have to shell out more around 25K to go for top end android phone like Galaxy S, HTC Desire or go for entry level smartphones like LG Optimus One P500, Motorola Quench XT3, Galaxy 3 which fall in 12K-13K bracket.
These entry level phones offer most of the fuctionality like 3G, WiFi, touchscreen, etc
why does the samsung wave not support market app it just has samsung apps?
Q. the samsung wave does not have market on it, it just has the crappy samsung apps even the samsung Galaxy Apollo has market ???
A. it has BADA OS...and i think there are few apps made for this type of os...check out these apps--
