Q. Okay, so I really would like to have a smartphone.Unfortunately, my parents will not allow me because they think that all smartphones have data plans over 50.00.Fortunately, the smartphone I want is the Samsung Galaxy Stellar, which is free with a 10.00 a month data plan which I could pay for with my allowance.I have heard great reviews about it and one of my friends has it and he loves it.Here is why I think I should have a smartphone-
-I am in the National Junior Honor Society and RuriTeen Club at my middle achool and the calendar would be great for scheduling meeting and volunteer hour oppurtunities.
- I swim five days a week and have meets once a month and besides entertainment I could also acess my times and the free online heat sheet
- I will be swimming for my high school team next year and will use the calendar to shedule meet and practice times.
- I could use an app like evermore to easily take class notes
- Instead of having to constantly traveling to the library I could download an app like adobe PDF reader and have access to thousands of book PDFs
-my phone broke last July when my brother accidentally spilled water on it and the battery fried.
- I know that this doesnt really help my cause but more than 60% of the student at my school have a smartphone and slot of my friends got smartphones this past Christmas.
Thank you and please answer.
A. Well, your in NHS, and so good grades should qualify you for a smart phone. Simply put, just tell them that if they give you a smartphone, you will be "smarter." If you're birthday is just around the corner, then hope for one then.
Thoughts on getting the new iPod Touch 5th gen?
Q. Hey everyone, Happy Holidays!
I've recently been wondering on whether I should get a iPod Touch as a reward for my 1st Semester Report Card grades in my junior year of high school. With 3 AP classes and then getting straight As, my parents decided to reward me with either some cash or something that I wanted.
This is where the iPod Touch 5th generation comes in. I bought my iPod Touch 2nd generation around 3-4 years ago, and I've loved it ever since. Sadly, I am starting to feel the difference speed-wise and resolution wise between the 2nd gen and other newer generations of Apple's products. The thing is, I already own a Samsung Galaxy S3, but am too used to having the iPod Touch wherever I go for music and games. Many apps I have/bought from the App Store like Tilt to Live or Netflix is now incompatible with iOS 4, so I simply cannot utilize my old 2nd gen itouch as much as I was able to in the past.
I know alot of you are wondering, "How come you just don't use the Galaxy S3?". Simply put, I would like to refrain from using the S3 for videos on Netflix or for music playing, since it drains the battery very heavily. Also, I hate having to re-drag all my new and updated music in my iTunes library onto my S3's microSD card everytime I want a new song. I use my itouch 99% of the time for music and youtube videos in bed anyways.
In conclusion, should I get the iPod Touch 5th generation from my parents, because of all of the great things I have heard it has, like the new 5 MP camera instead of the old crappy camera in the iPod Touch 4th generation (no offense). And if I should get one, since its most likely free, what color is better, the Black/Slate or the White/Grey-Silver? Thank you!
A. Personally, i prefer the grey-silver iPod.
Why does Samsung use K Pop artists like advertising puppets?
Q. I watched Infinite's new video "Request" and saw that it had all Samsung Galaxy stuff in it. I mean what's the point of paying devotion to my favortist band Infinite the world if they want to give up being music artists to be Samsung models instead?
I mean like in Korea Big Companies look like their on the "winning end" of the deal instead since Korean Artists aren't treated so equally in the American market
A. don't take it to the bad side, actually when you come to korea you will get surprise as you will see celebrities everywhere on all everything from banks to perfumes even restaurants they all put celebs photo.
i remember super junior did an advertising version for the song: mr.simple for samsung. also group after school with son dambi years ago did a special song for amoled samsung.
everything is different but still beautiful in korea.
