Q. I have an otterbox defender for my phone. And it is really stretched out and most of the clips on the hard case and broke. I am looking into a ballistics case or a trident case. But I'm not sure what I want. I was curious as to what other people thought or other peoples opinions to help me make a choice. I will be hiking and kayaking and stuff like that so I need a case that has port covers and some type of screen protection. I dought I will get wet withy phone on me but I might so I'm kinda looking for a waterproof or water resistant case as well.
A. A Samsung Galaxy S3 Ballistic case. Those are really nice.
Though I agree with Grandpa. Don't bring many electronics -- it's camping! Just enjoy nature for a while. :)

Q. Of all the phones I have owned the Galaxy Phones are the flimsiest pieces of garbage I have ever owned. I had the Galaxy S, which shattered from a one foot fall after sliding out of my pocket (yes, these phones are lubricated), and the Galaxy S4 that cracked while in my pocket. The outer glass didnt crack but the digitizer below the glass did. My LG Revolution is 2 years old and is solid as a rock, but I like the speed of my S4. When, or if I get it fixed, what case should I get? Is a helmet and shoulder pads too much?
A. I'm a fan of the Otterbox Defender. But I'm considering replacing the screen protector to some shatter proof glass.
But I also considered the Griffin Survivor. It had not been released when I got my phone. It's mil spec.

Q. Has anyone found one that can fit this? I've been looking for well over an hour online, scouring amazon, ebay and etc and can't find one. Hoping someone found a compromise at a retail store or something. Please answer if you've actually found one that fits the S3 with an Otterbox. Specifically the Commuter. Thanks!
A. The Tunebelt AB85. I found their website after reading several good reviews. The website even has a sizing chart for the Galaxy S3 with defender and commuter otterboxes installed so I felt comfortable ordering one for myself. You can find them cheaper on sites OTHER than the tunebelt site. eBay and Amazon have them for $19.99 with about $5 shipping. Not cheap, but at least you know it will work.
