Q. I recently bought two phone cases for my Samsung Galaxy S3 from Ballistic. Because of my price I recieved free usps shipping. How many bussiness days will it take to ship?
A. Well if you got Free Shipping, then your guess is as good as mine... most companies are only interested in sending you packages if you paid for the shipping, if you got it for free then they think they can send it out 'when' they want and 'how' they want, meaning they might not even pay for the tracking information on it depending on how much the case was in the first place...
I'd guess you'll probably get it in a week to 2 weeks...
Make sure you check the feedback of a company before you buy anything...
I personally sell a lot of different cell phone cases and my primary concern is shipping speed, I ship things out the same day the payment is made and my feedback backs that up as all my customers are thrilled with how fast they receive their cell phone cases :)
Check them out sometime :)
How do I claim my free case?
Q. A T-Mobile employee informed me if I go into the Samsung site and enter my serial number for my Samsung Galaxy Note 2, I'll get a free case.
I don't see where I can enter my # or claim the case.
A. That was a short lived promotion. They ran out of cases. (Bummer, I know).
I think to supplement them running out of cases they were offering 20-30% off the case when purchased through the site. (this is BS because the same case is cheaper on amazon than the discounted case off samsung's website.)
What qualifies as "damaged" when returning a verizon phone for a refurbished one?
Q. I had a refurbished Samsung Galaxy S3 sent to me from Verizon because of faulty hardware (SIM card wouldn't read no matter what). When getting the refurbished phone in the mail, I have to send my defective one back. However, there's a warranty notice saying if my defective phone is damaged (neglect, misuse, liquid damage, software or hardware alteration, or unreasonable wear and tear) I'll be charged the full price of a replacement phone ($500) if not more. I only have a few scratches on the outer frame of the phone. Would that qualify it as damaged or is it okay to send back in?
Thank you for any help.
A. If there are just a few scratches on the outer frame (no actual cracks or pieces missing), then you're fine. Normal wear & tear (within reason) is ok. Verizon will be looking for cracks, missing or broken pieces, etc. Also make sure there is no 'crud' or greenish discoloration in the charging or headset ports -- that will be considered liquid damage and will automatically trigger the fee. VZW will not charge the fee for a few minor scratches on the outer casing though.
