Difference between ipod touch and Kindle Fire.?

Q. I don't know if I should get a Kindle Fire or an ipod touch, what is the difference anyway besides the size?
I also hear that you can text on the ipod touch, what is up with that? And for free? Can you go on the internet with an ipod touch?

A. Kindle Fire is more of a tablet so its better for Internet use and watching movies. The iPod Touch is more portable. I have both and I use my Kindle Fire more than my touch because it's bigger and web browsing is a better expirence. You also get Amazon Prime the first 30 days of using your kindle which lets you watch movies for free. If you have netflix you can watch netflix movies on your kindle (you can also get the netflix app on the iPod Touch but again the Kindle Fire has a bigger screen and is better for watching movies) You can't really go wrong with either choice though

EDIT: Yes you can get on the Internet with an iPod Touch but you need wifi, same for the Kindle Fire. And yes you download a texting app, which I believe you can get on the Kindle Fire as well. Its free because you do it over wifi. If you don't know what wifi is, its something you connect to your Internet that allows you to use your Internet service on other devices like the ipod touch or kindle fire or laptop. You can buy a Linskys wifi thing for like $30.

Original Question

Reviews for the Kindle Fire?
Q. anybody whose a big reader out there, how do you like the Kindle Fire? I need to know what people think because i found out that i liked reading off of kindles and ereaders. but i would like to buy my own, and Kindle Fire is new so i just need some reviews!
thankyouu(:

A. Kindle fire is basically a tablet which has most of the apps related to reading which makes it an eReader tablet. Plus you can watch movies, tv shows, read magazines, play games, use some apps and read over 1 million titles from the amazon kindle store..

But if reading is your passion and you want to read more hours a day than the kindle touch would be a better option as its eInk based technology is very similar to reading books and this does not gets your eyes strained or anything. Plus you can read it under direct sunlight.

From my research here is a good review which would help you out in making this decision:

And here you would be able to find the price for the kindle touch 3g:

But if you prefer the kindle fire because of the tablet functions than here you would be able to find the price for which it is available to you:

Original Question

Does the Amazon kindle fire have 3G?
Q. Is amazon kindle fire a good choice for reading and videos?

A. Hi, â«, Kindle Fire does NOT have 3G as it is a Wi-Fi-only device. Be prepared that the video playback is not going to be great on Fire as it is one low-juice device and not a real media tablet. Nook Tablet is much better without a doubt, it's a class above Kindle Fire. You should do your own research and read online reviews on Kindle Fire before ordering one - there's a lot of complains from people who got the device that many Kindle Fire units have faulty Wi-Fi and people have a lot of issues connecting to internet. Other reported issues are that Prime movies can't be downloaded, only streamed, making them impossible to watch without Wi-Fi on Kindle Fire. Also, on Fire when the Silk internet browser is pointed at the Android market, it reverts to the Amazon market with much more limited content. Touchscreen is being reported as having a sluggish response. Slower and jerkier than expected web browsing thus no benefit from Silk browser. Power button is badly placed, leading to accidental turning off of the device (a lot of complains about this one).
All pro reviewers on the web clearly voiced that Nook Tablet is a much better device with superior performance compared to Kindle Fire. Nook Tablet has been getting rave reviews and it is the best device in it's class. It's got Netflix, Hulu, Pandora, Angry Brids, etc., the best battery life, the best screen, double the RAM and space for apps/photos/movies, microSD slot and a microphone for Skype (not on kindle), physical volume controls on the side (not on Kindle), very smooth video playback with excellent screen, and very fast apps load. Also, it is $224 if sign up for Barnes & Noble membership. See one review below:
PCWORLD:
The Nook Tablet's unique display has less reflectivity than the Kindle Fire's, and so is easier to read. In addition, some fonts and videos render more sharply on it than on the Fire. The dual-core 1GHz Texas Instruments OMAP 4 CPU and 1GB of RAM made switching from app to app a breeze, with little lag or stuttering. Movies played smoothly and stutter-free in Netflix, and the high-definition images re-rendered for Nook's 1024-by-600-pixel display looked lovely, with terrific contrast.
The Nook Tablet's display was dazzling overall. The screen's glare was minimal, thanks to what Barnes & Noble calls its VividView display. The IPS display is laminated and bonded; so unlike on other tablets's displays--including the Kindle Fire's--there's no annoying, visible air gap between the glass screen and the LCD beneath. The Nook Tablet's home screen is highly customizable and provides quick access to apps and reading material.
