Q. Ok, so basically, I have gotten a stylus for my tablet before.
The problem is, it didn't have a plastic nib, or nub, or whatever, like a Wacom tablet, which is what I preferred/liked. It doesn't need to necessarily have a plastic nib, it just needs to have a small end, like a pencil.
I found one like this, too, but had to return it because it only worked on one device.
So my question is:
Is there a stylus that has a tip like a pencil that I can use for ANY touchscreen device, and if so, where can I find one?
If not, is there one like this for the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2?
A. There are basically 2 stylus technologies:
1. The old resistive touch technologies, which responds to pressure (basically the blunt point object), they are pretty rare now, available on some types of devices. (plastic nib, thin like a pencil, obsolete)
2. The modern capacitive touch technologies. The capacitive displays detect the change in the electrical capacitance of a finger or a capacitive stylus like these http://styli.org/
They all work on modern capacitive screen devices like iPad, Kindle touch, Samsung Galaxy Tab as well as other modern tablets and all modern smartphones like iPhones, Android and Windows smartphones. So you need a capacitive stylus for Samsung Galaxy Tab 2.
Does Kindle come with a stylus ?
Q. for highlighting etc
A. Nopee you use buttons to do all of that. Its not a touch screen. Hope I helped:)
What is the best stylus for drawing on the Kindle Fire?
Q. I want to buy a stylus so I can draw on my kindle, but there are so many out there, and many aren't good for drawing.
A. Have you checked out the AmazonBasics? Typing emails or anything that requires typing on the virtual keyboard, the amazonbasics is invaluable. It's even more helpful for clicking links in the Kindle Fire's web browser. Also - and this is a big plus - the stylus tip glides over the screen very smoothly, making it a valuable tool in drawing apps.
get the stylus..
