A. No, but it's good quality glass. Regardless, I always buy a screen protector, they are invaluable to me. A $20 investment could save you loads when you try to sell it in the future. This maybe unrelated but I'd rather get a Android tablet that has Gorilla Glass, but this is because I'm a Android fanboy.
iPad mini glass screen repair?
Q. Apple says my ipad shattered screen will cost 250 bucks when it didn't even cost that much. Should I repair it myself? Is it really that much or they ripping you off? My iphone 5 is also shattered.
A. It is very possible to repair your own screen. Don't listen to apple dumbshits who want your life savings to fix an iPad screen. The only issue would be if you had let muck get in around the screws, to a point which they would behave oddly and get stripped. Order a kit online, they're cheap
iPad 3 Digital Model?
Q. I have recently broke the corner of my iPad, 3rd Generation. I am interested in designing a 3D printed case for the iPad so I prevent further damage and the tendency to accidently rub up against the fractured glass.
Does anyone know where I can find either a plain iPad 3 case 3D model (preferable) or an iPad 3 3D model?

If Apple followed its yearly release schedule than the iPad Mini with Retina Display 2 or iPad Mini 3 should be coming out later this year. Yet, according to a report by respected analyst Ming-Chi Kuo of KGI Securities, that doesn't seem to be the case. The Mini seems to be shelved until 2015 in favor of upgrading the more profitable iPad Air.
BGR thinks differently. The gadget gossip and review website cites a chart that seems to show two new iPad models being prepped for an imminent release. Whatever the case, it would be unwise for Apple not to update its smaller tablet for 2014.
