What's the best case for Samsung Galaxy S3?

Q. I want to keep my phone safe. What's the best case to get for it? I know about Otterbox but the reviews for this particular phone's case are kind of bad. Any other suggestions?

A. Try to get one that has charging capabilities. It can charge your galaxy s 3 and protect it on the go.

Original Question

HTC One or Galaxy S4?
Q. I got the HTC One and it's cool I like it, I love the body a lot it's built very well, but the Galaxy S4 has a bigger screen that is smoother and I kinda miss Samsung because I had a Galaxy S3 and loved it, I'm going to end up covering the body up anyways so I don't think the built matters a lot, Galaxy S4 still has a great build and has a much better camera and more battery and more immense interface. I like Samsung because they go neck to neck with iPhone and I hate Apple so idk, HTC comes with no headphones and a short charger while GS4 comes with really good headphones and a long charger etc. I think I'll go back and return my HTC One and get the Galaxy S4... I think I just like the HTC because of it's body, but again I'll probably cover it up by a otterbox so it doesn't matter if it's metal or not, I think I'm going for the switch, oh and I like the speakers and more storage but there's no micro sd slot nor removable battery and the Galaxy S4 has a really good speaker to so... Anyone think its a good idea to exchange the phone since it's only a few days old, if not, then tell me why, thanks!

A. Now I could tell you that the Galaxy S4 is better like everyone else and hope to get your best answer rating...or I could give you the result of literally hours of research that I did before deciding which of these two phones to buy.

1. The galaxy s4's screen is 5.0 inches vs the One's 4.7. This is not that big of a difference although I understand if you can feel it. You mentioned the GS4 has a "smoother" screen, while it is super amoled vs the One's LCD, the One has a slightly higher pixel density, meaning that it will in fact look smoother. People have said that while the colors on the GS4 are a tad (a I do mean EXTREMELY little) brighter, the One is the more natural realistic screen.

2. The camera. While the GS4 has a great camera, it is by no means a MUCH better camera and some would argue that it isnt a better camera at all. Keep in mind the One has ULTRApixels and not MEGApixels.

3. Battery: While the GS4 comes with a slightly larger battery, the massive amount of software that is always running on it will suck battery far faster than you think. When actually measured while running continuous video on full brightness, the GS4 lasted on average about 15 mins longer than the One. Basically, its not that much better and normal users probably wont notice a difference.

4. I wouldnt use the word "immense" to describe either of these interfaces...your probably thinking of a phablet and I assure you, the GS4 will not feel that much bigger than the One.

5. Buying a phone from a company simply because that company competes with one that you hate is hardly a reason to pick a product from said company.

6. Yes you will have microSD card slot but keep in mind that this only allows you to store music and pictures, NOT APPS which consume the majority of your storage (unless of course you root your phone and force apps to the SD card, which if you dont know what that is, you probably shouldnt attempt to do it). This is problematic for the GS4 because its OS (touchwiz) takes up 7 gigs of space. You will not have 16 to work with you will have about 9. Sense 5 on the One only takes up 4.5 and so your left with at least 27 to work with.

7. Speakers on the GS4 are SIGNIFICANTLY WORSE than the One although for me this wasnt a big selling point.

8. Im sorry that your One didnt come with headphones...mine did. And they are great.

9. GS4 problems, it is known to overheat. This is because it actually has the exactly the same processor as the One, its only clocked a slightly bit higher. While you wont notice any performance enhancements from it, you will notice the significant overheating while doing only minimal tasks. It also will suck battery. It is also known to LAG a significant amount, far more than a phone with its specs should. The one is butter smooth all the time.

10. Conclusion: It seems that your intent on switching. What I have presented here is simply my opinion based on literally hours of research that I did. Yes while if you get the S4 you will probably be happy with it, I truly believe the One to be the better phone. I personally HATE touchwiz and I love sense 5. However if you truly like the software on the GS4 better and cant stand sense 5 then fine. I would keep the One as I believe in two years til your next upgrade, it will perform as a better phone for the long run.

Original Question

Samsung Galaxy S2 Skyrocket AT&T?
Q. I've had my S2 SKyrocket since September and I love it. Today, it started turning off and on by itself, first every couple hours but now it turns off 3-4 minutes apart. I tried to call someone but could only use speaker because the sound wasn't working, but even when I used speaker it made my voice garbled and the other person couldn't hear me. I have full coverage (insurance) on this phone, but it costs 125$ to get a new one according to AT&T's contract rules.
I cannot be without a phone, due to school purposes and what not. I had an Otterbox on it and I have not dropped it, so it's not my fault. Since it's the phone's fault, can AT&T replace it for free?
Also, I don't think the AT&T stores here sell the Skyrocket anymore. Can they give me another phone like it? For the same price insurance would pay for it?

Any answers would be very helpful! i'm heartbroken over this! lol

A. do a hard master reset... you do it or ATT will do it before the free warranty process.... all data on the phone will be wiped.. sd card wont be touched.... work now??

if not, they'll replace the phone... normal, per policy, they will contact warranty dept and they will ship you a new phone in 3-5 days. Ive never known a store on any carrier to give out free phones as a warranty replacement, other than the Apple Store for Iphones. But you can try. IF it is a warranty replacement, you will get another GS2 SKyrocket per policy. Its to new (2011) and popular for warranty to be out of stock on it
