Q. My T-Moible 2-year contract ends soon and I want a smartphone with a front-facing camera, touch screen, and Android powered. I have narrowed it down to these 3 phones, but which one is better? Please tell why one is better than the other, and please don't go by looks. Thank you in advance. Best Answer will be given the person that explains the best
A. Honestly if you can, try to get the HTC Sensation 4G or the LG G2X. They're both high end smartphones with dual core processors, front-facing cameras, run on 4G.
But if you're dead set on these phones then...
leave the Samsung Exhibit 4G out. It has a small 3.5 in touch screen which makes typing on it really cramped and a hassle. It's more of an entry level phone for people who don't know how to use a smartphone.
And between the Samsung Galaxy S 4G and T-Mobile MyTouch... it's a really hard choice, but I would have to go for the Samsung Galaxy S 4G just because it has a 4 inch Super AMOLED touch screen which is one of the best in the smartphone business. Other than they, they both seem to have very similar specs like a 1ghz processor, plenty of ram, Android 2.2, wi-fi calling, etc. Though I have to warn you that the Galaxy S does not have a camera flash.
You can probably get both phones for huge discounts on Wirefly since they're a little bit dated http://www.wirefly.com/?r=wirefly_cj. It looks like the Galaxy S is $99.99 right now and the MyTouch 4G is 49.99. Wirefly is like the Walmart of the Mobile World. You just need to stay on contract with T-Mobile for 6 months after you upgrade or else they'll charge you the full price of the phone.
But again, if you can, try to get the HTC Sensation or the LG G2X, but if not, aim for the Galaxy S. The 4inch touch screen vs the Mytouch's 3.7inch touch screen is a huuuuuge! difference, trust me.
How to sync music to samsung galaxy exhibit 4g?
Q. I did the logical thing by using the usb cord sent with the phone to sync the music from my computer to my phone. However, when I do this my computer does not recognize it. What should I do?
A. Install the necessary drivers for your phone from Samsung's Kies. http://www.samsung.com/us/kies/
Once you are done, plug in your phone and it should recognize it. If not try a different computer and check it out there. If all goes wrong then it's probably the phone.
You should be set. I'd recommend synchronizing music with a program called Double Twist. It is sort of like itunes and it's more easier for the generic user. http://www.doubletwist.com
But you can always just copy and paste music to your device like a flash drive.
Best Wishes,
Dan
Is it possible to upgrade from my new Samsung exhibit 4g to a samsung galaxy nexus?
Q. I have had this phone for less than a month, and the new nexus just came out. I want to know if out is possible to exchange for a discounted price our slough I have to pay full price?
A. Isn't the Exhibit 4G on T-Mobile? The Galaxy Nexus will not hit T-Mobile for months, if at all. It's a Verizon exclusive for a while in the US. And I believe T-Mobile has a 20 day return policy to get your money back, so if you signed a two year agreement with them when you bought the phone, you're stuck with that phone unless you pay full price for another (Galaxy Nexus will be $550+).
