Q. I have an galaxy s2 from boost mobile and I'm trying to fully flash it to metro pcs is this possible? If so how can I go about flashing it myself. Please help:)
A. Android devices can only be flashed with stock firmware from what I believe due to restrictions/firmware verification in the Android Operating System . I believe Metro PCS is a custom firmware, in which case the only way to flash it on would be to root your S2 first which will allow full access to the phone and allow full unrestricted access to the devices operating system allowing the firmware to be flashed onto your device. This can be done with one software - FlashTool. Download it, plug in your device to your PC/Mac and try flashing it on with FlashTool. You might want to backup the data on your device first since it may be lost. If unsuccessful hit the root button and wait for it and follow the instructions then download BusyBox to see if your device is properly rooted. If not, it is worth researching on xda-developers - you may have an unrootable firmware/baseband version and may need to flash an older stock firmware rom onto your device (available from xda) and flash it on using FlashTool or else maybe FlashTool just doesn't have a root for your device. If neither of these methods work follow instructions on xda to root your device on your current firmware and if you need any help create an account and ask for help on the forums.
Have a nice day and good luck :)
How much does the Samsung Galaxy II Epic 4G Touch cost?
Q. I want to know the price of the samsung glalaxy II epic 4g touch.jus the black one.Not the one with a new design just the black one.thank you very much
A. I just got mine today, the plain black. I had a 100 dollar discount because of some credit thingy in my account and still I had to pay about 150.00, plus a phone case so like 100$ total, but you get a mail and rebait and they give you back 100$ dollars through the mall, but you have to call and remind them or they won't. It's an amazing phone. (:
Should I choose iPhone or Android (Samsung Galaxy Epic Touch) ?
Q. I am planning to get Sprint plan next month but I have big dilemma. I don't know what to choose. I really like iPhone and I like Samsung Galaxy Epic Touch either. I know that android has app that can make my sprint unlimited data to wifi so I could connect my iPad with that wifi. But iPhone doesn't have that kind of app. I really like the iPhone design but I like galaxy features. What should I do? Most of people use iPhone these days. Please choose one for me and why?
Thank you so much!
A. I would personally choose the Samsung Galaxy Epic Touch. I have the Samsung Galaxy Vibrant and my mom has the Samsung Galaxy 4G and we both love our phones. They have low radiation--in case you're concerned about frying your brains--have a nice sleek look to them, have awesome screen display, and are a better deal for your money than an iPhone.
Most of the Samsung Galaxy line is really high quality, so I'm pretty sure you'll be happy with the Epic Touch.
