Q. I can't afford to buy a kindle adapter and my laptop's bust so I have nothing to charge my kindle with. It looks like it'll fit into my iPhone adapter but I don't want to try it in case it breaks the adapter or my kindle.
Does anyone know whether it will work or where I can find out properly?
A. If its a USB port, it will work. Don't worry it will not break your kindle or charger, any USB works for any device, I always use my iPod USB port to charge my phone.

Q. the wont i have is just generic usb wall adapter i got years ago and it was "5.1-12 volts" so is that to much for my kindle 4? i once fried a MP3 player with a car charger being to powerful so i would like it if that doesn't happen again :) for now i charge it with my computer until i know the answer. i know they say the actual kindle wall adapter is 4.9 volts but would my 5.1-12 volt adapter to much?
A. Honestly i wouldn't risk it. It just isn't worth the possible savings when it could fry your kindle.

Can you put music on a Kindle Fire using a computer?
Q. I got a Kindle Fire for Christmas and I was just wondering if you can put music on it if you have it on your computer. Like such as music from the iTunes store or just music you have purchased and put it on your computer using Windows Media Player. I don't have a cord to actually do it with if you can either.
A. You can buy a micro-usb to usb adapter. Or you can do it online by downloading the amazon mp3 uploader. You have to upload your songs to amazon, then you will be able to access your online library from your kindle and download or stream them from there.
