Q. My rabbit has just had babies and is constantly pulling hair out to line the nesting box. In some places the skin is exposed. Is this normal, and what should I do about it?
Both the buck and the doe are Californian Whites. The doe was bred at 6 months, the buck is a generation older from the same family, and owned by a friend. Not sure the age.
A. This is absolutely normal, and a very good thing, as litters would freeze without their mother's hair lining the nest. According to the Nature Trail website, "Hormones in the doe's body near kindling make it easier for her to pluck her own fur, which she uses to line the nest she has made for her babies."
Some does pull themselves almost bald. Others don't pull much hair at all. But it's definitely a good thing, because kits need to stay very warm until they start to grow their own fur.
Does the bible talk about skin color at all?
Q. I know Rev. Martin Luther King - said a man should not be judged by the color of his skin. I also know of some Israelis who refer to black Africans as Kushi which is similar to the N word. So I wondered if there was any biblical statements which refer to skin color in particular.

How to not get bitten by spiders?
Q. I'm going to Tennessee in the summer and were getting a cabin that isn't the cleanest. Km terrified of getting bit by spiders. I also know that brown recluses live in Tennessee. Just anything I can do. I'm going to be outside a lot during the day and at night I don't want to be bitten either. Sorry for bad crammer or spelling I have a kindle and it just does that.
A. First, spiders are not the biting critters people make them to be. They are not bloodsuckers, and humans are not food. They would only bite in defense, say, trapped or smacked against the skin.
Most spiders can't bite humans, and those that can nearly need to be provoked to bite. Usually they are going to run from you before they would bite, and not going to bite if just crawling on you.
Yes, the brown recluse can be found in Tennessee, but bites from these overhyped spiders is easy to avoid with a few simple precautions. Keeping a space between bed and walls, bedding and clothing left off the floor, Check bedding before retiring, and clothing before dressing. Check linen and towels before using etc.
My aunt lived 30 years in a recluse infested house and never bitten.
I wouldn't be too concerned about the spiders.
