Q. I like the "pure" google experience on the nexus. But the S3 looks pretty cool, and the screen size is awesome on the Note, but the stylus is a MAJOR sticking point for me.

A. The Samsung Galaxy S3 is probably the nicest phone out there. It's sleek, and smooth and has a nice screen + everything like the apps and messaging and everything runs so nice, I love it. My best friend has one and I use it all the time, and even without a screen protector or a case on it it's very hard to crack or even scratch. The stylus for the Note 2 is quite annoying, and the Samsung S3 is a pretty decent size. The nexus 4 is nice but the S3 is my favourite. It's really up to you though.
Would a Samsung Galaxy Note 2 Otterbox case fit on a Samsung Galaxy Player 5?
Q. I have a Galaxy Player 5 and I want an Otterbox case for it.. they make one for the Note 2, and the dimensions are similar, so I was wondering if anyone would know if it'd fit? It doesn't have to look pretty, I just want a case. I can make it work if it's too big, but if it's too small it won't really fly. Thanks
A. The problem is that Otterbox cases are designed only for the phone it's made for. I doubt it will work. If the keys and ports are placed in relatively the same area, it might work.

Hardware:
The processor power of both these devices are impressive. Samsung Captivate is powered by a 1GHz Hummingbird processor with a 512MB RAM. The iPhone 4 on the other hand, is powered by Apple's native A4 processor that too runs at 1GHz and comes with 512MB RAM.
Camera:
Both Captivate and iPhone 4 come equipped with a powerful 5-megapixel camera with autofocus and support for 720p HD video capture. However, Apple wins the competition hands down due to the availability of LED flash along with support for on-board video editing features and video chat functionalities.
Compatibility:
Folks at TiPb point out that the Captivate may not be an ideal device for Mac users. Unlike the iPhone 4 which only requires the user to plug into iTunes to sync content, the Captivate will require several workarounds to achieve the same task. Also, MobileMe users may find it difficult to restore content while switching handsets.
Battery:
Heavy users of smartphones may find the battery life offered on Samsung Captivate disappointing. As many of our readers have noted in the past, the new iPhone 4 offers significantly improved battery life that comfortably lasts for a day in most cases. However, this may not be the case with the Captivate and as TiPb points out, the battery may not last a work-day if you are a heavy user.
